Yonkers Shooting Suspect May Be Ducking Police Dressed In Drag

YONKERS, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police say a suspect wanted in a fatal Yonkers shooting may be eluding authorities by dressing like a woman.

Ronnell Jones and two others are suspects in a wild shooting last July. Two people died and four were wounded.

Yonkers police said they received a tip earlier this week that the 23-year-old had been dressing in drag, with a wig. They also received tips he had been seen dressed as a woman while attending a party in Manhattan.

Detective Lt. Timothy Hodges says Jones is dangerous. Detectives have passed out 1,400 copies of a wanted poster offering a $5,000 reward. Police also alerted transportation agencies.
