Police Searching For Bronx Homicide Suspects

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Police are searching for two suspects wanted in connection with an April 19 homicide in the Bronx.

The shooting happened in front of 1668 Davidson Ave. near the Morris Heights section of the Bronx on April 19 at 4:59 p.m., police said. Upon arrival, police found 34-year-old Ernest Atiso in a 2007 Dodge Charger with a gunshot wound in the torso.

EMS responded and transported Atiso to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police describe the first suspect as a 20- to 22-year-old male weighing 160 pounds and 5-feet-9-inches to 5-feet-10-inches tall with dark complexion. Police said the man was wearing a black knit cap, a black Yankees jacket, black sweat pants and black boots.

Police describe the second suspect as a 20- to 22-year-old male weighing 150 pounds and 5-feet-8-inches tall with light complexion. Police said he was wearing a grey sweater and black sweat pants.
