Colt McCoy knows a thing or two about the NFL Draft, having been part of the whole process last year, selected in the third Round by the Cleveland Browns.

He joined Boomer & Craig this morning in the Allstate studio to talk about the draft and his first year under center for the Browns.  Right off the bat, Craig made things a little awkward by referring to McCoy’s former coach, Eric Mangini, as “Mang-idiot” and asking him how happy he is that the coach was fired.  McCoy laughed it off and took the high road, but I think we all know what he was thinking.

We then heard all about Colt’s  memorable marriage proposal, which took place at Texas Memorial Stadium (she said yes) and his early exit from the 2010 BCS National Championship against Alabama when he suffered a shoulder injury.  McCoy assured Craig that despite the pain, he did not shed a tear…
