High-Wire Act Comes To Atlantic City's Tropicana Casino

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A seventh-generation member of the legendary "Flying Wallendas" is keeping the family tradition alive.

Nik Wallenda will be walking the high-wire Friday at the Tropicana Casino and Resort for an upcoming television special.

He was set to perform inside The Quarter, the casino's shopping and dining area. Late in the afternoon, he'll do it outdoors, atop the casino's 23rd floor.

Wallenda says there will be "some nerves involved" but says it's really just another day at the office for him.

He's shooting for a world record with the "Wheel of Death," a large rotating apparatus on which he will do stunts over the side of the building.
