WCBS 880 Connecticut Bureau Chief Fran Schneidau: It’s A Murder Mystery

Leonel Rios Hernandez’ body was discovered around 7:15 p.m. on Monday. His body had been in the room more than 24 hours when he was discovered however police said it is unclear exactly when he died.

The unemployed man shared the apartment with family members.

Capt. Richard Conklin says the victim met a violent end.

“It definitely looks like blunt force trauma about the face and head,” he told WCBS 880 Connecticut Bureau Chief Fran Schneidau. “It appears some emotion [was] involved in his death.”

It is the city’s first reported homicide of the year.

I take it from your comments you must be anti-gay. Regardless of his sexuality nobody deserves to die in such a violent way. BTW if you had any balls you would write your full name, hmmm that’s right you have no balls and only trash itself would write such a comment…See you downtown Nick..

To face someone while you’re bludgeoning them to death is supposed to be very hard. Unless you know the person. That makes it very personal and is committed by someone full of rage.
