Jerry “Rello” Recco is very good at his job, which is to provide informative and entertaining sports updates throughout the morning.  Like it is with any job, Jerry’s success has led to him to develop a little bit of a chip on his shoulder, and often times he become combative with both Boomer and Craig.

Well, with NJ Governor Chris Christie sitting in for Boomer today, we all assumed ole Jerry would be on his best behavior, but I guess it’s true what they say about assuming.

Jerry stayed true to himself. He played a cut of Alex Rodriguez’s response to a question regarding the injury to teammate Eric Chavez, a query the governor thought was unfounded.  Jerry disagreed — and from there he and Governor Christie butted heads, with Craig playing the role of peace maker. Somewhere Boomer was smiling…
