NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – The Tri-State gets an early Mother’s Day gift of fair skies and mild temperatures on Saturday.
Temperatures will rise to a high of 70 degrees with fair skies and light winds, but there is a slight risk of afternoon sprinkles and a possible isolated thunderstorm.
That series of rainy disturbances is expected to be in and out quickly as a high pressure system moves in to takes its place. Temps will also only drop to a low of 54 degrees into Saturday evening.
Overall, Saturday’s expected to be a gorgeous day and an even better forecast for Mother’s Day on Sunday.
With a look into the workweek, temperatures are expected to reach the 70s all week.
