Statue Damaged At Ss. Cyril And Methodius Roman Catholic Church In Deer Park

DEER PARK, NY (WCBS 880) - A statue at a Long Island church was damaged after it was apparently knocked to the ground.

Church workers put the Statue of St. Methodius back in place, but pieces were still on the ground in the back of Ss. Cyril And Methodius Roman Catholic Church In Deer Park on Wednesday.

Authorities say the crime happened on May 7 or 8.

The church is located at 125 Half Hollow Road.

There is a reward of up to $5,000 for anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
