The low pressure system is taking its time moving in and through the area, bringing with it a flood advisory for parts of northern New Jersey, the southern upstate and parts of Long Island. A coastal advisory remains in effect.
There are no severe weather threats—other than the constant rain—but the storm and shower risks are expected to remain all week long.
Central Park will see a high of 70 degrees and surrounding areas are expected to hit the mid-60s.
