Last night at Yankee Stadium, the Red Sox put the finishing touches on a 3-game sweep of the Yankees, winning 7-5.

It was the Bombers’ 5th straight loss.  Things don’t get any easier for the Yanks either, as they prepare to head down to Tampa Bay to play the 1st-Place Tampa Bay Rays and their young left-hander David Price, scheduled to start tonight opposite A.J. Burnett.

Believe it or not, all of the Yankees’ losing took a back seat to another story out of Yankee Land, as Jorge Posada asked out of the lineup Saturday night after being dropped to 9th in the batting order.  Prior to last night’s game, Posada, who is currently hitting .165 by the way, offered an apology of sorts.
