FBI Agent Adrienne Busby Indicted In Manhattan Federal Court For Making False Statements About Informant

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — FBI agent Adrienne Busby is accused of stepping over the line, committing a crime after having an affair with a confidential informant.

He’s now facing federal indictment. The indictment is not for the affair, but for lying on a FBI document when he stated that this woman, who he wanted to use as an informant in a mortgage fraud investigation, was not the subject of any investigation herself when in fact, she was.

She’s since been convicted in a Queens’ identity theft case. The indictment charges that after her arrest, the FBI agent tried to help her by slipping confidential law enforcement documents to her attorney. Then, he’s accused of lying when he denied doing it.

Agent Busby surrendered in El Paso,Texas. He’s charged with two counts of making false statements which carry a sentence of up to five years in prison if convicted.

20 years ago I was on a federal jury for 2 months. In contrast to the clean cut, square jawed types in the comics when I was a kid, the FBI witnesses were pathetic. Even the agent in charge sneered at them.

This is a poorly written piece.

Law enforcement at the federal, state, and local level is being exposed on a daily basis for corruption, lies, half truths, and a host of other crimes including murder, rape, selling illegal drugs, and literally framing innocent people.

This story is simply yet another daily example.

Remember this when you get called for jury duty. The cop giving testimony is quite possibly engaging in a lie right before your eyes.
