Bus-Car Crash At JFK Leaves 1 Dead, Several Injured

NEW YORK (AP) -- Officials said a crash between a car and a New York City bus carrying 15 passengers at John F. Kennedy Airport left one person dead and several people injured Wednesday night.

Port Authority of New York & New Jersey spokesman Ron Marsico said the accident happened at 10:25 p.m. on Pan Am Road near Parking Lot 8.

He said one person in the car was killed and another was seriously injured. He said six to seven people on the MTA bus suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known. The investigation is ongoing.
