NEW YORK (WCBS 880) - An arena is growing in the County of Kings.

The Barclays Center is the biggest piece of the Atlantic Yards complex and is under construction right now in Brooklyn. It’s to become the home of the current New Jersey Nets (who, at this time, play at the Prudential Center in Newark).
Speaking of the Prudential Center, it is now the temporary home of the New York Liberty.
The Barclays Center is slated to open its doors for the 2012-2013 NBA season.
