NYPD Looking For Two Suspects In Connection With A Midtown Hotel Burglary

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – The NYPD is looking for two suspects they say are wanted in connection with a burglary at a Midtown hotel.

Police say it happened around 9am on May 24 inside the New York Marriott Marquis on Broadway. They say guests alerted hotel security when they saw two suspicious males trying to open doors to rooms on the 18thand 19thfloors.

Police say one of the suspects was able to get into a room on the 10thfloor and was found hiding in a closet by a housekeeper.

He took off out of the room and was later stopped by hotel security, but got away after a confrontation with security guards.

The second suspect fled the hotel unnoticed.

If you have any information about the suspects, call police or Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
