BRONX, NY (CBS 2/AP) – A 5-year-old girl is among the victims of a triple shooting in the Bronx.

The shooting happened at about 10:15 p.m. Friday in the borough’s Soundview section.

Police said a gunman fired at least nine shots at a group of people. The little girl was taken to Jacobi Medical Center with a bullet wound to her back and underwent emergency surgery.

A 24-year-old man was also taken to the hospital after being shot in the leg as well as a 15-year-old boy who also took a bullet to the leg.

All three victims are in stable condition.

Police were trying to identify and locate a suspect on Saturday. So far, no arrests have been made. The investigation is still ongoing.
