B&C Morning Show: Heat Strike First; Put Lupus In The Trunk
Jerry "Rello" Recco's first update of the morning began with a recap of the Heat's 92-84 win over the Mavericks in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. This is not good news for all of the LeBron detractors out there, but it is just one game and the series really "doesn't begin" until the home team loses (as they say), so there still is hope for Dirk and the Mavs (fingers crossed - Mavs in 6).
We also heard the voice of the Yankees, John Sterling, as he got to call Curtis Granderson's 17th home run of the season in the Yanks' 10-3 over the A's in Oakland last night. Freddy Garcia improved to 4-4 and has been another bright spot in the Bombers rotation, right along-side Bartolo Colon.
The update got off course a bit when Jerry suggested putting Lupus in a trunk until the Mets hit another home run. Al "Hughes" Dukes offered his own suggestion of where to put Lupus and then Craig told a story where he played the role of good samaritan...
