NBA's Robinson Cited For Public Urination In White Plains
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) -- Oklahoma City Thunder guard Nate Robinson is facing a possible fine after a police officer says he caught him urinating in public in White Plains.
White Plains police say an officer spotted Robinson peeing on a sidewalk outside a downtown bookstore just before 2 a.m. Friday.
Authorities tell reporters the basketball player was taken to police headquarters, issued a summons and ordered to show up in court on June 22.
The offense normally carries a $50 fine.
Robinson played for the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics before going to the Thunder in 2010.
