Police: Man In Critical Condition After Being Beaten
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 27-year-old man is fighting for his life Saturday morning after being beaten by a group of men in the Flat Iron district of Manhattan.
EMS says they brought the beating victim to Bellevue Hospital. Officials says he was beaten by a group of five to six other men after some kind of dispute. They say the victim is in critical condition.

Police say the victim may have known his attackers. One witness tells 1010 WINS a group of men poured out of a car and pounced on the victim.
This happened at about 4:30am at the corner of 5th Avenue and 22nd Street. Police have roped off the entire block of 5th Avenue from 22nd to 23rd streets.
