Al "Hughes" Dukes is a single, 41-year-old male who lives alone in the New Jersey suburbs. With that in mind, Craig got to thinking about what the internet is for and how Al may use it in his everyday life. In the end, Craigie concluded that the internet was invented for people like Al.
From there, Craig had some good news for Mets fans. That is, if you believe Jeff Wilpon, who indicated yesterday that if the Mets are still in the thick of things as the trading deadline approaches (July 31), they could be buyers. Talking about GM Sandy Alderson, Wilpon had this to say: "He'll have all the opportunity to bring anybody he wants in."
Craig isn't ready to buy in just yet, but John Franco - who was sitting in for Boomer all morning - believes the Wilpons will stay true to their word. Looks like time will tell...
