HEWLETT, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP)Nassau County police said two masked men with handguns robbed a branch of the Roslyn Savings Bank, spraying a 57-year-old male employee with mace before escaping.

The robbery took place shortly before 4 p.m. at the bank office at 1280 Broadway.

Police said nine employees were forced to get down on the bank’s floor while one of the gunmen jumped over a teller’s counter and took money.

The employee sprayed with mace was treated at the scene. There were no other injuries.
