1010 WINS’ Steve Sandberg reports: Neighbors Are Shaken

The girl told police the man, wearing a green shirt, placed his hands around her neck and tried to pull down her pants.

“We’re worried because we think our home is a secure place,” one neighbor said.

“It’s disgusting,” another neighbor said.

It is unclear how the man got into the Poningo Street home.

I don’t have any sympathy for those committing these kind of sex crimes. Rapists, once caught should be required to spend some “quality time” with the family of their victims before being tossed in slammer – forever or not.

Should make these crimes a automatic life sentence. These type of criminals just do it over and over again. Our justice system only protects the guilty.
