An oversized card is on display from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal.
The 15-foot-tall card is there for you to sign, and is brought to you by Gillette.
“Jeter has been a long-time friend of the brand, and we’re just very excited to celebrate and honor him,” says Gillette spokesperson Chris Montemurro.
She says online wishes will be pasted to the card.
“People can participate by either stopping by and sharing their well-wishes with Jeter, or by going to Twitter at #gillettejetercard, or going to Gillette’s Facebook page,” she says.
Gillette will present the card to Jeter along with a check for $50,000 for his charity, the Turn 2 Foundation.
