An oversized card is on display from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal.

The 15-foot-tall card is there for you to sign, and is brought to you by Gillette.

“Jeter has been a long-time friend of the brand, and we’re just very excited to celebrate and honor him,” says Gillette spokesperson Chris Montemurro.

Congratulations Derk Jeter on your 3000 hit. Thank for being loyal to your team and fans. May the rest of your days in pin stripes be as good as that moment. You are one of the greatest in pinstripes and in baseball. We will be waiting for your next mile stone since you have a lot of baseball yet to be played.

  8. TJ Puttsworth says:

Jeter deserves kudos for his monumental accomplishment, but he is a bum for not going to the All-Star game. He was well enough to go 5/5, but suddenly he can’t even show up for the fans who voted him in? This may also be the last time he deserves to go.

Congratulations on your records. Many more years of success.
