NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Steve Somers opens up a Monday night schmooze by recapping Derek Jeter's incredible 5-hit day. OK, he touches on No. 3,000 too.

Somers then called on Sal Durante, the man who caught Roger Maris' 61st home run in 1961, to give his take on Christian Lopez's decision to give the DJ3K ball back to Jeter for a smorgasbord of Yankees merchandise.
