Jerry “Rello” Recco was all over the All-Star game this morning and everything else going on in the world of baseball.

The National League won the game 5-1 behind a 3-run home run off the bat of the games MVP Prince Fielder.  Following the game, the Mets announced they struck a deal with the Brewers that will send Francisco Rodriguez to Milwaukee.  One has to wonder if this is just the beginning of a Mets’ fire sale… Craig sure thinks it is.

Speaking of the Mets: although he wouldn’t commit to it, MLB commissioner Bud Selig indicated that Citi Field will be the site of the 2013 All-Star Game, which Craig wasn’t sure what to make of.  From there he poked fun at the attendance at Citi Field, which is certain to continue to dwindle.

As for Derek Jeter, after skipping the All-Star game for what has been called mental and physical exhaustion, the Yankee Captain was spotted canoodling with his lady friend in Miami (not Tampa) yesterday.  What can you say other than ‘atta-boy Derek’ – I mean have you seen Minka Kelly???  Hellooooo!!!
