Missing Brooklyn Teen Found Safely On Staten Island

WAWARSING, NY (CBSNewYork) – A 14-year-old teenager was found safely at a Staten Island mall after he went missing from a camp in Ulster County.

Moishe Dressner, of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, was attending a camp in Wawarsing for Hasidic youth from the New York City area.

Authorities said that police were able to trace a Wednesday afternoon phone call made by Dressner to his parents.

Several agencies, including New York State Police, New York State Forest Ranger, the NYPD and other departments had been assisting in the search.

    …apparently he snuck out late at night and hitched a ride to NYC. GREAT that he’s okay, but had a lot of people worried AND agencies working to find him!
