B&C Morning Show: Mets' Daniel Murphy Talks Hardball With Boomer & Carton
With the Mets prepared to take on Phillies tonight at Citi Field, Al Dukes booked Daniel Murphy and his Amish beard (pictured) to join Boomer & Craig and talk about the club. Murphy would be well suited to reach out to Christian Lopez, the cell phone salesman, because his line was a bit distorted -- but the guys made it work.
Right off the bat (pun intended), Craig made it clear to Murphy that he is not a fan of his facial hair configuration, which is a bit unusual. Murphy took it in stride and quickly got to talking about a subject he is a little more comfortable talking about: baseball.
Murphy talked about the Mets' surprising first half and what he is expecting in the months to come. He credited Terry Collins for keeping his team focused and on the right path.
The interview was cut a little short when Craig mocked the dwindling attendance at Citi Field, which he expects will continue to plummet...
