Poor job on the part of the CBS website. They didn’t link this current page with the article that the boy was found ( but they still have the “headline” of the amber alert in effect on the other pages. PAY ATTENTION CBS!

    1. Betsy says:

Did you miss the part where the mother was assaulted and that’s how the child was taken? How on earth does that indicate that the mother WASN’T watching her child?

  3. Michael H. says:

I got a text alert saying the Amber Alert was cancelled at 2AM. Was the boy found? Why hasn’t CBS updated the story?

    1. Ragnar Danneskjold says:

Amber Alerts are useless since most of the time it is a domestic dispute (as these facts imply) and this guy is probably the boy’s father engaged in a custody battle.. That’s why he assulted the mother, they have a picture, where he lives, etc.

Waste of time. 99% of kidnappings are part of domestic custody disputes. Amber Alert should not include such cases.
