New York State Amber Alert Issued For 3-Year-Old Brooklyn Boy

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has activated a New York state Amber Alert for a missing Brooklyn toddler.

The boy – 3-year-old Ferrari Tiesto Stojka – is white and has brown hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 3 feet tall and weighs 40 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, white shorts and a Yankees hat.

Authorities said 34-year-old Jacob Lasco, described as a white man with blonde hair and blue eyes, assaulted the child's mother and abducted him before fleeing on foot around 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

The incident took place at the intersection of Ocean Parkway and Avenue P in Midwood.

Police said Laslo, approximately 5-foot-9 and 180 pounds, was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

Police said Laslo resides in New Jersey, but was last known to be in Manhattan.  He was last seen traveling on foot.

Anyone with any information on this abduction is asked to call the New York City Police Department at (866)NYS-AMBER or dial 911 to provide information on a report or sighting.
