NEW YORK (WCBS 880) - Now that it’s cooled down a little, it’s perfectly safe to get out there for a run once again.
And it’s just in time for a series of free clinics offered by Runner’s World magazine and Foot Locker.
Bart Yasso, chief running officer at Runner’s World says they kick off tonight at the Foot Locker store on 14th Street.
Runs at Columbus Circle will begin July 27 and will be held every Monday and Wednesday at 6: 30 p.m. through Sept. 14.
“We supply the training program, the coaches, a place to meet and run,” Yasso tells WCBS 880′s Pat Farnack.
The summer-long clinic will culminate in “The Great Cow Harbor Race” in Northport on Sept. 17.
