Police: 3-Year-Old Boy Found Wandering Alone In Battery Park City

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A 3-year-old boy found wandering around in Battery Park City Monday morning will spend the night in the custody of Administration for Children’s Services.

Trevor Frazer has been checked at the hospital and found to be okay.  Police said the toddler was found around 9:30 a.m. Monday in Teardrop Park.

The child’s 20-year-old mother, however, is currently at Bellevue Hospital, where she has been admitted as an emotionally disturbed person.

Police are still trying to piece together the circumstances that led to the child being left alone.  Authorities have visited family members of the boy in New Jersey, police said.

    1. take him away says:

Kid has a crazy mom probably junkie and hopefully he will be taken away from the whole family. The family had to see signs a long time ago now everyone does not know what happen .Put him in a nice foster home with people that actually care and he can have a shot in life.

      1. Very conservative says:

His known (pretty key word) family is probably the same way, so foster care is the only alternative. And the mother should be put on permanent birth control, because at 20 years old still plenty of time to pump out plenty more of these welfare take-even-more of MY tax money babies. Would the latter ever happen? Of course not. Because this once great nation has become TOO DAMN LIBERAL.
