NEW YORK (AP) — The New York Rangers have re-signed defenseman Steve Eminger.

The 27-year-old Eminger had two goals and four assists 65 games with the Rangers last season.

In 411 career NHL games with the Rangers, Ducks, Panthers, Lightning, Flyers and Capitals, Eminger has 17 goals, 74 assists and 323 penalty minutes.

He was acquired by the Rangers from the Ducks in exchange for forwards Aaron Voros and Ryan Hillier last July.
