Suspects Steal Hats, Sneakers From Store In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Hats, sneakers and cash. That's what police say two men took from a store in Brooklyn.

It happened last Wednesday just before 3:30 p.m. at the Sneaker Net Store on Graham Avenue.

Police say the two walked in, one with a gun, and demanded money.

One of the suspects took cash from the register and then grabbed a pair of sneakers and some hats before the two took off.

These not-so-sneaky sneaker thieves were caught on the store's surveillance camera, though.

Watch surveillance video of the suspects below:

The suspects are described as being African-American and in their 20's. One had a thin build and was wearing a Cleveland Indians baseball cap, red and white striped shirt, and wielded a gun. He's about 5'6".

Police say the other suspect is about 6'0" and 180 pounds. He was wearing a white tank top, a black backpack and had a Mets cap.

Police are still looking for the suspects. If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com. All calls are kept confidential. You can also text your tip to 274637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577.
