B&C Morning Show: Moving And Shaking – Jeter Loses Grip
Jerry ‘Rello’ Recco’s first update of the day was packed with information about everything you may have missed over the weekend, beginning with the highs and lows the Jets and their fans experienced.
The lows came Friday when the Jets lost out to the Philadelphia Eagles in their bid to land Nnamdi Asomugha, a body blow indeed. But that move was followed by the Jets making a couple of moves of their own – signing Plaxico Burress to a 1-year deal and agreeing to terms with Antonio Cromartie on a 4-year pact.
While the Jets continue to make headlines, the Giants have remained on the sidelines, so to speak and according to Craig, the fans of Big Blue should be very concerned.
Some other news from around the league, often troubled wide receiver Brandon Marshall says his wife never tried to stab him – which is refreshing news and Peyton Manning took ‘less’ money to remain with the Colts.
As for the Yankees, they got win number 10 from Freddy Garcia and we hear from Joe Girardi who seems to really like Freddy. As for the Yankees captain, Derek Jeter he is having some trouble with his grip, which is certainly a concern. The Mets lost to the Nationals 3-2, finishing off their road-trip with a record of 6-4 and will welcome the Marlins to town tonight as Boomer & Craig will be making the trip to Citi Field for the game…
