Gotham Gossipist: Dame Helen Mirren Knocks Off Jennifer Lopez, Pippa Middleton For 'Hottest Body' Honors

By Kimberly Rae Miller

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Move over, J.Lo.

The Bronx beauty known for her bombshell curves has been booted from the top of the list of hottest bodies in Hollywood.

Gym franchise LA Fitness commissioned a survey of 2,000 people to answer the eternal burning question. And the answer may surprise you.

Dame Helen Mirren - yes, the 66-year-old Oscar winning actress - was elected Body Of The Year.

With 17.65 percent of the vote, she wiped the floor with Lopez - who came in fourth, with a meager 6.6 percent of the vote.

Poor Jenny from the Block.

J.Lo, we still love your butt — but based on the poll results, we'll probably like it more in 20 years.

But whether or not her body is coveted by gym rats is probably not on J.Lo's list of priorities these days. Since her split from husband Marc Anthony last month, Lopez has other priorities -  like love and motherhood.

In an interview for the September issue of Vanity Fair, Lopez confessed, "I remain an eternal optimist about love. I believe in love."

"It's still my biggest dream," she told the magazine. "I am positive — determined to move forward with my life, bring up my babies, and do the best job I can as a mother, entertainer, and person. I now look forward to new challenges. I feel strong."

Strong, yes.  Hottest, no.

The preference for mature women continued with Elle MacPherson.  It's hard to believe, but "The Body" is pushing 50.  The former super model came in second in the poll, at 10.6% of the vote.

Other winners include:  Cheryl Cole (5.35%), Pippa Middleton (4%), Kate Winslet (3.9%), and Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger (3.8%).

It looks like Cougars are back in style.  Ladies, don't hang up your hot pants just yet.

And, J.Lo, don't worry, you're still New York's favorite MILF.
