Search On For Missing Elderly Harlem Woman

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An elderly Harlem woman suffering from Alzheimer's is missing after disappearing over the weekend.

Police say Betty Wendler, 84, slipped out of her Amsterdam Avenue home around 11:30 a.m. Sunday while her attendant was in the bathroom.

Her family says Wendler was wearing a bracelet ID.

Wendler was last seen wearing a purple shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers and eye glasses. She uses a wooden cane for walking.
