NEW YORK (WFAN) – Mets youngster Justin Turner now sits at No. 4 on Steve Somers’ list of all-time New York Baseball Redheads.

Red Barber and Rusty Staub were always ahead of Turner — but now Evan Roberts has supplanted Turner at No. 3. Why? Steve is just a little bitter over a bad play that contributed to the Mets’ 4-3 loss on Tuesday night.

According to Somers, the Mets continue to “invent ways to stun you in disbelief.” There’s always next time, Steve.
