Jenni Nedell gets choked up when she talks about losing her father. The last time she talked to him he was in Tower Two on September 11, 2001.

"He said 'I love you' then he went upstairs to help a gentleman he just hired," said Nedell.

To honor her father, Nedell has been holding a kickboxing fundraiser for the past three years that helps support the upkeep of the September 11th memorial in the town of Babylon.

This year, the event will be held on September 10 at November Romeo Aviation Company near MacArthur Airport where Nedell is an employee.

"It's just a way of not forgetting what happened," she said.

Nedell hopes to raise $10,000.
