FBI Has Job Openings For Special Agents, Other Positions

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — If you’ve always wanted to work in federal law enforcement, you’re in luck. The FBI is hiring.

LISTEN: WCBS 880’s Levon Putney reports

Myrna Williams with the FBI’s Newark Division says they’re hiring special agents. “We’re not always hiring special agents, so that’s important to know,” said Williams. “But we’re always looking for people to fill other positions as well.”

They also have openings for accountants, architects, chemists and more. “We hire all walks of life,” said Williams. “We need people who do everything.”

Experience is preferred and those going out to be agents would have to go through academy training.

The FBI job postings are online at www.fbijobs.gov.

FBI agents I have met are honest and hard working ,dedicated people and so
looking to retirement in 20 years as a great perk for service rendered.
They then can go in to the private sector to run security operations for
banks and other businesses and still be roughly under the age of 50 years of age.
Certainly it ain’t like the tommy gun days we see in old movies.

sorry too honest for a position – and too outspoken
