New York And New Jersey Brace For More Rain Days After Rainiest Day Ever In New York City History

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - To quote the Eurythmics: Here comes the rain again.

Area residents might think Big Apple's been bobbing in all the water that's soaked us lately. Fed up or not, another soaker is on the way Thursday.

The National Weather Service issued a special statement, saying a thunderstorm is rolling our way.

Rain was expected to fall at a rate of a half inch an hour within the storm. That could cause roadways to turn into ponds.

Minor flooding of poorly-drained areas is also expected.
