Giants Sign Andre Brown, Five Others To Practice Squad

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The New York Giants signed former Denver Broncos running back Andre Brown and five other players to their practice squad.

Brown, a fourth-round draft pick of the Giants in 2009, had two carries last season for Denver. He signed with the Giants last month and ran for 106 yards on 33 carries during the preseason.

Also signed to the practice squad Sunday were linebacker Adrian Tracy, the Giants sixth-round draft pick in 2010, and defensive tackle Dwayne Hendricks, who was on their practice squad during the 2009 season. Joining them are tight end Christian Hopkins, who played two seasons in the UFL; defensive end Justin Trattou and quarterback Ryan Perrilloux.

All six players were waived by the Giants in final roster cuts Saturday. The team still has two more spots open on their practice squad.
