B&C Morning Show: Jesus Montero's Day, Joe Girardi's Revelation
Jesus Montero had himself an afternoon in the Bronx, as the 21-year-old prospect got the start at DH on Monday and responded by hitting two home runs.
Jerry provided the audio of Yankees radio play-by-play man John Sterling, calling Montero's 5th inning long ball as only he can. We also heard from Yankees manager Joe Girardi on Montero's performance -- and also what excites his Yankees ball club.
The Mets had won 8 of 10 coming into yesterday's game with the Marlins in Florida and had been playing pretty entertaining baseball.
Then they lost to the Marlins 9-3 and afterwards Terry Collins praised Jason Bay before saying he is going to give him a day off. We also hear that Johan Santana may pitch again this year for the Mets.
From there it was onto football and we heard about some comments made by Rex Ryan's brother Rob, who is the defensive coordinator for the Cowboys. We also heard from Tom Coughlin, which led to one of Craig's alter-egos making an appearance.
