Authorities Find 40 Cats In Yaphank Man’s Home

YAPHANK, NY (WCBS 880) — An emergency medical call led authorities to a home with dozens of cats on Long Island.

LISTEN: WCBS 880’s Sophia Hall reports

Robert Barrett was irate and screaming after he said his wife fell and broke her hip inside their Yaphank home.

But when authorities arrived, they stayed for hours after finding nearly 40 cats living inside the house.

Barrett says he is a breeder but some of the cats will now likely be removed from his home.

“We show them, we go to cat shows,” he said. “I feed them every day. I spend a great deal of money on cat food and veterinary care.”

The SPCA would not comment but officers with the town said the cats are well fed but some need medical attention.

This site was inspired by Jesus Christ the son of Almighty God & any praise should be toward Jesus Christ

John 15:13 If you have purchased an expensive pedigree cat or kitten from a *CFA/TICA registered pedigreed cat breeder & you are not satisfied with your purchase & the registered cat breeder refuses to want to deal with you. You have emailed them, called them, the breeder will not answer you whatsoever. But they were quick to take your money that is for sure. You have come to the right site.

as long as these cats are taken care of, fed, provided plenty of drinking water, they are , by far, much better of in fresh, open air, rather than stuck inside an apartment, or bitten or kicked by some idiots. i dont see anything wrong in this.
