NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Looks like a young Carrie Bradshaw could be on the small screen by next fall.
Access Hollywood reports that the CW has bought The Carrie Diaries, the prequel to Bradshaw’s life in New York.

The show, being developed by two Gossip Girl producers, is based on the book by Candace Bushnell, written about Carrie Bradshaw’s high school years.
In August, rumors of a prequel swirled as the UK’s Daily Mail reported that Darren Star, the original creator of the Sex & The City series, was joining Sarah Jessica Parker to create the series’ prequel version.
As of right now, however, Parker nor Star have any connection to the project.
