NEW YORK (WCBS) — Police are now looking for at least two suspects in a string of sexual attacks in Brooklyn.

For many Park Slope residents, it’s hard to visualize an attack at the busy corner of 9th Street and 7th Avenue with a 24-hour diner, bodegas and wide, two-way streets.
But late last Thursday, a woman was grabbed from behind.
“You’re out here, where are all the cops? Somebody ought to be watching somebody,” said one woman.
Police are confident there are two attackers, maybe three. Between them, there have been eight attempted rapes and one successful one since March.
The first attack on March 20 was captured on a surveillance camera. The video shows the woman fighting off her attacker after he grabs her from behind.
“Looking around constantly just to make sure that, you know, nobody is following me, but what can you do,” said another woman.
A new neighborhood group called Safe Slope is organizing self defense classes, a buddy system and a rally Wednesday night.
The rally starts at 8 p.m. at the Prospect Avenue railroad station on 17th Street.
Anyone with information about the suspect or the attacks should call police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577 TIPS.
