It happened Saturday, Sept. 3 just after 10 a.m. Police say the suspect walked in to the Queens County Savings Bank on Jamaica Avenue and handed a teller a note demanding money.

Officials say he acted like he had a gun inside of a bag. The teller gave him an unknown amount of cash and the suspect took off.

The suspect is described as black between 25 and 35-years-old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a navy blue Yankees hat, a white t-shirt with a design on the front and jeans.
