Arrest Made In Deadly Queens Hit-And-Run
NEW YORK (CBS 2) – Police have arrested a man in connection with a deadly hit-and-run accident that killed a grandfather in Queens.
Police arrested and charged 61-year-old Luis Narvaez with leaving an accident that resulted in the death of 65-year-old Jerry Kishun and tampering with evidence.
The hit-and-run happened at 4:54 a.m. on Thursday at the Grand Central Parkway exit at 82nd Street. Responders found Kishun unconscious and unresponsive.
Kishun was pronounced dead at Elmhurst General Hospital.
Police said Kishun was hit as he checked the damage to his own car after rear-ending another vehicle.
