The Giants celebrated the 25th anniversary of their 1986 Super Bowl championship team Monday night at MetLife Stadium.
Yesterday morning, when Sean Landeta joined the guys, Craig had a little fun with him regarding the celebration. While doing so, Craigie assumed Lawrence Taylor would not be in attendance considering his recent trouble with the law.
Lo and behold, the man they call “LT” was there, and he received the loudest ovation of the night. For that, Craig says the 80,000 fans in attendance (those who cheered anyway) should be embarrassed by their actions.
Craig says bottom line, regardless of what he accomplished during his playing days (many credit him with revolutionizing the linebacker position), he is a bad guy and should not be cheered.
He also questioned what a parent might tell their child about cheering for a sex offender…
