B&C Morning Show: Jerry Recco's Giant, Historic Update

Jerry began his first update recapping the Giants' 28-16 win over the St. Louis Rams last night. Big Blue improved to 1-1 with NFC East rival Philadelphia up next.

The Giants took advantage of numerous Rams gaffes.  With Bob Papa forced to leave the booth a little early (to attend to duties involving the Giants honoring their 1986 Super Bowl championship team), WFAN Giants beat reporter Paul Dotinno got to call a little play-by-play -- and Craig liked what he heard.

Then, after Craig scolded Max for what he thought was a breakfast ordering oversight, we heard from the one and only John Sterling, who is of course the legendary radio voice of the New York Yankees.

With history being made yesterday in the Bronx, Sterling was on his game.  As far as Craig's problem with Max, it was unfounded as we learned that the Blonde Bomber took care of breakfast this morning (thanks Booms), but that didn't stop Craig from holding a grudge against poor Max.

With that cleared up, Boomer commented on how "haaaard" the Twins hit A.J. Burnett, who allowed 9 hits and 4 runs in his 4+ innings of work and how former Yankees pitcher Ian Kennedy became the first NL pitcher to reach 20 wins this season...
