Published reports indicate that these NYPD officers are union deletes, sergeants, and possibly high-ranking officials, all of whom must turn themselves in on Monday.

More than 500 officers have been linked to the scandal. Those involved are accused of taking cash, alcohol and other gifts for fixing the tickets. Furthermore, the officers could face bribery, perjury and grand larceny charges.

A ridiculous witch hunt. The guys at internal affairs should be ashamed of themselves for making a mountain over nothing. I’m glad I retired.

    1. Reverend Rev says:

Why does “Internal Affairs” exist, anyway? All police officers are Legally Designated Heroes (thanks to G.W. Bush), so they’re EXEMPT from ALL LAWS.

Time was when the worst things they did was steal apples off the pushcart peddlers, dunkin’donut freebies, or sleeping over by the cemetery ( one watched while the other slept), so here’s to progress – RAZZ!!

How can cops be indicted for anything? All police officers are Legally Designated Heroes (thanks to G.W. Bush) and thus are EXEMPT from ALL LAWS.

You must be one the cops who got Indicted. Everyone knows stuff like this goes on. This guys just got busted. If you do it for your brother of close friend is fine. But don’t make a business out of it.

      1. Jeff Rosen ret NYPD Sgt says:

.Don’t believe everything you read. What you said about doing it for a close friend or relative being fine is basically what they’re indicted for. The DA;s office is grandstanding and the media’s eating it up. If the cops were doing it for profit they would have been charged with bribery and it would be called a bribery scandel.. Notice nobody has mentioned the word bribery.
