Nassau County Police Searching For Attempted Kidnapper
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Nassau County Police are searching for a man who tried to kidnap a teenager while she walked through a park on Friday night.
The incident happened in Valley Stream. The teenager was walking in Hendrickson Park shortly before 8 p.m. when a man came up behind her, wrapped his arms around her and told her to be quiet.
The victim screamed and the man ran off.
The victim described the man as a white male in his early 20s with dark hair, shaved arms, wearing a black t-shirt, khaki shorts and smelling of smoke.
