Police Find Body Floating Near Mill Basin In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Police found a man floating in the water near Mill Basin in Brooklyn on Saturday afternoon.

Officials pulled the unidentified black male from the water in the vicinity of East 66 Street and Dakota Place around 1:54 p.m. EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene.

There were no signs of trauma to the body and the medical examiner will be determining the cause of death.

Police described the man as being 40 to 50 years old and wearing black jeans and black sneakers.
